Hello Everyone!

We’ve finally got ourselves organised and settled in. Has taken a few days to find our feet and arrange our days. We have had a few light dustings of snow which has really made Coronet shine. During the course of the day I will be uploading the first of the pikkies to this years gallery.

Had an uneventful flight over & scored a car upgrade to boot. Many thanks Carolyn 🙂 As susual, the drive up from Dunedin was just spectacular, it was obvious to see this years snow season had got off to a good start. Our cottage is just magic. Not huge but well appointed & warm. We have some fabulous views.

All the usual crew welcomed us at The Peak & Sir Les has been up twice to it has been great to catch up with him & say hello. There are, unfortunately, 2 less of the old crew. They are off in permanent snow land 🙁 Today is the first night ski so we’ll try & get some pikkies tonight.

That’s about all from us, we’ll let the pikkies tell the story!

Hello from NZ

Hi Everyone!

Well, we made it safely over here and up to Arrowtown. We’re now on the air and can keep you all updated.

Arrowtown is very much our sort of town, quiet & laid back. The cottage is just brilliant. Not huge but very comfotable. We drove up from Dunedin on Monday & hit the slopes for the first time yesterday. It was really nice to have the long feet on again. Coronet hasn’t changed at all. Had a very nice nice welcome note & bag of lollies waiting for us in our season locker.

We hit the slopes this morning and got a nice bonus. It was snowing! Not hugely but it was really good. Visibility was limited and we didn’t stay as long as usual but is was a great top up. I will post some photos a little later so you can see what we’ve been up to.
