Vale Sir Leslie Brough

It is with great sadness that we learnt over the weekend that Sir Les has surrendered his second ski. He was an absolute gentleman and a very good friend and we owe him a great deal. As one of the founders and major drivers of the One Ski in the Grave Club, he was a welcome sight on the mountain and his connection goes back to the origins of the field in ’47 and he & his brother were instrumental in the construction of the first lift towers in the 60’s. He was a competitive skier not just on piste but also in cross country winning the NZ title in 1959.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Judy and their sons. 🙁

Had to post this one from the Coronet Express this morning.  Last weeks snow has almost melted away but it’s a beautiful day. Hurry up winter!

Hello World!
